Sorry my blog has been so neglected in the past month but finally I have layouts to share. On Friday I went to Dalwallinu with a friend for a scrapping weekend Country style and had a great time. These are some of the layouts I created.
Warning - Long Post!!!!!
This layout is of Maddie at the beach a few years ago. Have used a chip frame and Websters Yacht Club patterned papers and stickers. Fussy cut some of the papers and used some Green Tara flowers and mini roses. Cut the banner out with canvas and tied hemp through it. Saw a similar layout to this on Two Peas and loved it. This photo is of Mitch when he was 14 together with a bunch of his clothing labels. Got this idea from a layout created by Kathy Baker. Thanks Liz for collecting all the tags for me!
Loved this family photo taken at Gavin's 50th birthday party in May 2011. The theme of the party was Hawaiian so I have used the Kaisercraft Seaside Collection papers, canvas and chip embellishments. Converted the photo to black and white as the colours in the photo's were quite bright and didn't match the papers. Have cut the Hibiscus border out on my Cricut using "Life's A Beach" cartridge, painted them with Rock Candy and layered them.
Maddie is a big believer in the powers of "Crystals" and works at her neighbours shop on weekends. These photo's are of them all at the stall at the Mandurah Crab Festival. Have used some leftover Bo Bunny Peacock Lane papers.
This layout was just a matter of getting it documented rather than creating. The papers were in my stash and I have cut the violin (guitar) out and layered it to make it 3d.
Such a gorgeous photo of Lachlan at Kindy. Have used October Afternoon Schoolhouse papers and stickers, Kaisercraft Class of 87 papers and stickers.
And lastly this layout is using the Fancy Pants Beach Babe papers, chip and diecuts. Title is MME from an old range. Have layered the patterned tags on chipboard and made them 3d. Scraplifted this idea from Stacey Cohen.
Well that's all I have to share for now. Well done on lasting to the end of this post. I have a couple more layouts that still need some finishing touches and I will get to those on Saturday at Northside and I am working on another Mini Album - I know I said never again but there is no pressure with this one so hopefully it will be enjoyable.
Thanks to the ladies in Dali for the great weekend and to my travel buddy.
Until the weekend bye for now!
Shaz
XO
