Hi All
Happy Sunday!
Can't believe it has been a long weekend here and all I have to show for it is ONE layout! I had good intentions but other things got in the way. I spent Friday doing all my chores (because my cleaning lady didn't come this week - aagh) so I then had the whole weekend to play. Not to be!!!! Oh well I guess it is good to be busy and out being sociable.
My layout is of my nephew Lachlan taken on Fathers Day in September playing with Granddad's tools. He is not really "Mr Mischief" but he loves keeping busy.
Have used Bazzill cardstock, Raven Glimmermist, Bella Boy Paperz range, Tim Holtz Sizzix diecut, Ranger Distress Crackle Paint, Kaisercraft rub-ons, bottlecap, April Showers Cricut cartridge and thread.
I am very excited as this week is the "Ingvild Bolme Prima Workshop". (Finally!!) It seems like I booked it months and months ago. Have got everything ready today off the list and can't wait. Hopefully we will be able to share on our blogs what we create.
Until next time hope you all have a great week! Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Scrapping

Cousins - Photo Op
Hi Blog Followers
Sorry it has been a few weeks since I last posted I was sick with a Migraine last weekend so no scrapping done.
Had our monthly crop at Northside Croppers yesterday and sadly that is the end of the group for me. The club is folding after next months crop but I will be overseas for that one so yesterday was it for me. It has been nice to get together monthly with a group of ladies who share the same love of scrapping. I have met some really lovely people over my years of attending and I am so grateful that some of my closest friends today I met at the group. It has been really great also that it was something that Mum, Liz and I have been able to do together. Oh well they say as one thing ends another will begin! Didn't do much yesterday but here are the couple I have to share.
Liz took these great photo's of the kids at Mum and Dad's on Fathers Day 2011. I have used the Jillibean Soup dutch mustard soup range of papers and diecut elements. AC cardstock, Mister Hueys Clover mist. Martha Stewart border punch, Tim Holtz rosette diecut, Prima vine and I think the corrugated letters are Jillibean Soup also. Unfortunately I still haven't mastered photographing my layouts really well so whilst the border looks uneven it is actually equal in real life.
This card is using leftovers from the Echo Park Victoria Gardens range of papers and element stickers.
A card using leftovers of Authentique Journey collection of papers and Tim Holtz rosette and banner diecuts.
And finally I have lifted this idea from a lady on the web who makes some simple but gorgeous cards. Have used an embossing folder and a sizzix diecut, rhinestones and a "HB" sticker.
Hope you have all enjoyed a great weekend? Back to the working week tomorrow.
Until next time. Happy scrapping!

Weekend of Scrapping!
Hi All
Have had a fantastic weekend scrapping with my sister and some friends at my girlfriend Suzanne's house. We always try different bits and pieces when we get together so had lots of fun.
This layout was inspired by Belinda Spencer who is a guest DT member this month at Handmade by Suzanne. I absolutely adore what she has created with this range. The layout is of my niece Maddie enjoying the surf. Have used Core'dinations Cardstock that has been sanded and washed over with Ranger Snow Cap paint dabber, Pink Paislee Nantucket papers that I have cut the flowers and fish out, inked the edges and added liquid pearls. Also used some Nantucket Ephemera shapes. AC Thickers and mesh.
Two weeks ago my gorgeous niece turned 13. This photo was taken on her birthday weekend away with girlfriends. Used Kaisercraft Bonjour range of papers and stickers, paper blooms, lace and a Melissa Francis frame.
This photo is also from Maddie's weekend away. The paper is from the Bo Bunny Welcome Home range. The Hanging sign is a Sizzix diecut that I have rubbed over with Rangers snow cap paint dabber and added split rings. Kaisercraft wooden fence, rub-ons and paper blooms. The bows are made from Seam binding and twine.
This layout is my take on the October 2011 sketch at Handmade by Suzanne. My nephew broke his arm on the first day of the school holidays in September last year. He is such an active boy so to have to give up all the things he loves was a bit of a blow. I have added some hidden journalling reminding him of how it took his mother 3 days to realise his arm was actually broken (despite his Aunty telling her that day). Have used the MME Good Day Sunshine range of papers and accessories. Hard to tell in the photo but the RHS of the diecut is raised to give it a different look.
And finally this is a card I made using the leftovers from the Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden paper pad and Ephemera shapes, MFT High Tea Doily, seam binding and liquid pearls.
Well that's all for now, thanks for stopping by. It's now time to unpack from the weekend and get ready for another week of work. A huge thanks to my lovely friend Suzanne for taking such good care of us over the weekend. We love visiting you! Hope you all have a fantastic week ahead! Happy Scrapping!
